Seaboard DC-8 Departs from Marble Mountain Army Airfield SVN – April 1969

While not specifically about Flight Check, it does involve an OV-1 airfield in South Viet Nam. In April 1969, a Seaboard World DC-8 landed by mistake at Marble Mountain Army Airfield (OV-1 Mohawk base) at 2am in the morning. They had been cleared to land at Da Nang Main but landed at Marble instead....
